It's called wet-on-wet technique. Most of our walls are wood (we live in...Very nice! Most of our walls are wood (we live in a converted mountain cabin) so we can't paint much. My husband has talked about painting a mural on the walls and low ceiling of our attic bedroom -- he loves skies, too. His sister has painted a huge mural in their brother's playroom, all huge zoo animals (she works at the San Diego Zoo as a tour bus driver).
